HGV Class 2 Driver – Full Time

Description

Mainstay are recruiting for a full–time class 2 driver for our long–standing client based in Northampton.

The role involves up to 5 deliveries per day, with a small amount of pump–trucking and manual handling, working across various contracts for our client. Perfect if you are a driver that likes variety, as no two days will be the same. Shifts start between 05:00 and 08:00 and usually last on average between 8 – 10 hours. Shifts that last fewer than 8 hours are protected with a minimum of 8 hours gauranteed.

This role is Monday to Friday with no expection of weekends, and is a full–time role after 12 weeks.

Requirements

Valid UK HGV Class 2 driving licence

In–date CPC and Tachograph

No more than 6 endorsement point on licence for minor offences (DR and IN endorsements cannot be considered)

Preferred 2 years of HGV driving experience (but can accept less for the right candidate)

Pay

First 12 weeks – 14.00 per hour PAYE OR 15.50 per hour including holiday pay

After 12 weeks – 14.95 per hour
