HGV Class 2 Driver Multi drop Pallet Network

Description

Applicant must be able to work on their own initiative and be part of the ever growing driving team here at Direct Transportation, the driver will deliver to a wide range of locations on a daily basis and also receive collections to return to our site. We have the Pallet network which is local to Colchester and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

A valid clean HGV Class 2 licence (minor points considered)

7.5T/18T Drivers wanted to do the same as the Network drivers.

A digital tachograph card and full CPC

Minimum 1 years driving Class 2, newly qualified drivers considered (conditions apply)

Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Good geographical knowledge

Excellent customer service

Tail Lift experience

Pallet pump truck experience

Curtain side class 2 experience

The Role:

Working for a company based at our Colchester site you will work a Mon - Fridays delivering palletised goods using the tail lift and pump truck. You will be responsible for the following:

Providing excellent customer service

Adhering to all Tachograph, Driver and Road Regulations

Pre-start vehicle safety checks and vehicle cleanliness

Completion of all legal and customer relevant paperwork

Operating in a safe manner whilst moving heavy pallets

High level of customer service to our clients

Multi drop to various locations in CO and CM postcodes

Electric pump trucks are available

Company uniform supplied, sat navs provided.

Work hours vary but start will be between 0630 and 0700 then fish after your runs normally between 1630 and 1830. All within drivers hours.

GBP50 attendance bonus for 0 sick days each month.
