GBP18.18ph - GBP20.50ph
Drivers are paid a guaranteed 8 hours for a full shift. If extra work is refused or the job isn't completed, pay is based on hours worked. All drivers required to pay GBP1 per shift towards insurance contributions
HGV Class 1 Night Drivers Wanted
Drivers Plus are recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 Night Drivers for our prestigious client if HD6. This role involves Class 1 Double Manning to Kent, Somerset and Scotland trunking to RDCs. This could potentially be a TTP for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing:
Trunking delivering to RDC's
Double Manning work.
Carrying out daily vehicle checks using your company device
Keeping in touch with the transport team to provide updates
Maintaining high standards and following all legal requirements
What We're looking for:
UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence with 2 years on your licence.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Experience delivering to client sites
A strong customer focus and positive attitude
Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
Able open and close curtains and strapping loads securely.
