HGV Class 1 Driver – Days

Location: London Gateway

Rate: GBP18.00 per hour + Competitive overtime rates

Shift: 7:00am start, approx. 10–hour shifts

Induction: 2–day paid induction

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for day shifts at a busy container transport operation based in London Gateway. This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking regular work with competitive pay.

GBP18.00 per hour, paid weekly 7:00am starts, 10–hour shifts Monday to Friday schedule Container transport 2–day paid induction provided

Duties include:

Transporting shipping containers Coupling and decoupling trailers safely and correctly Carrying out pre–use vehicle checks and reporting defects Ensuring all loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations Accurate completion of paperwork and use of on–board systems Communicating effectively with the transport office Adhering to all driver hours and WTD regulations

Requirements:

Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Up–to–date CPC and Tacho card Experience in container work preferred ADR licence advantageous but not essential Good knowledge of driver regulations
