Description

Job Title: Forklift Truck Driver

Location: Carlisle– driving licence required due the location of the site

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Shift: 4 on 4 off days (6am to 6pm) and nights (6pm to 6am)

Salary: 13.48 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable FLT Driver to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by safely and efficiently operating forklift trucks to move, load, and unload goods.

ALL CANDIDATES MUST DRIVE DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklift trucks in a safe and efficient mannerLoad and unload vehicles, ensuring accuracy and safety of goodsTransport materials to designated locations within the warehouseMaintain accurate stock records and complete relevant documentationCarry out routine safety checks and report any defects or maintenance needsEnsure adherence to health and safety procedures at all timesWork collaboratively with other team members and supervisors

Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (e.g., RTITB or ITSSAR–accredited)– desirableFor this role we will consider those with relevant experience from in house licences as wellPrevious experience in a warehouse environment preferredGood understanding of warehouse health and safety regulationsAbility to work in a fast–paced and physically demanding environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and teamwork skills
