Major Recruitment are looking for forklift drivers on a permanent basis. Our client near to Northallerton is looking for experienced counterbalance drivers for immediate starts.

This opportunity as an FLT Driver, gives you the chance to work with one of the most successful manufacturers in the region.

As an FLT Driver, you will join a rotating shift system: Monday to Friday 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm / 10pm to 6am.

FLT Driver Duties:

Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisorTo help prioritise workloads within the department / designated warehouse areaTo deal with the movement of products within the warehouse, using a Counterbalance FLTPicking and packing duties when required, and taking instructions from supervisors and managementLoading and unloading wagonsReach Truck usage in multi–level racking, approx. 10 meters highMaintain the company's health & safety standards at all timesTo follow all legal and company requirements to the use of forklifts in the Warehouse FLT Driver Role Requirements:

Experience of working in a warehouse environmentAn in–date Counterbalance Licence (RTITB / ITTSAR)An in–date Reach Truck Licence (RTITB/ITTSAR)Must be punctualExperience of working to targetsCommunicates effectively on all levelsHigh attention to detailThe ability to follow a processProfessional attitude to workInterested?
