About the Role:
One of my local government clients are currently recruiting for an experienced Employee Relations Caseworker to join its dedicated HR team. This is a vital role where you will support managers, employees, and trade union representatives in managing complex ER issues with fairness, consistency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a wide range of employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinaries, and investigations
*
Advise and guide managers in line with internal HR policies and employment legislation
*
Collaborate effectively with trade unions, HR colleagues, legal teams, and external bodies like ACAS
*
Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely resolution of cases
*
Provide HR policy guidance and contribute to the continuous improvement of ER processes
What We’re Looking For:
*
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Employee Relations casework
*
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
*
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
*
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
*
CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
*
Experience in the public sector/local government is desirable
Working Arrangements:
*
Office attendance required on Tuesdays (subject to change), with flexibility to attend on other days as needed.
