Description
Delivery Driver
Location: Nationwide (Office based in SE London)
Salary: GBP450 a week + Overtime and Shift Allowance
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 2pm.
Job type: Full–time, permanent
Bridge Recruitment are proud to be assisting one of our established clients who are recruiting or an experienced Delivery Driver to join their ever–expanding team. You will be driving up to 7.5 tonne vehicles.
Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver:
Operating in a fast–paced environment, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in full, with a strong emphasis on punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail. You are not just delivering goods you are delivering service!
Requirements of the Delivery Driver:
Category C1, endorsement–free valid UK driving licence
Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
Forklift licence and ability to operate forklift and other equipment used in warehouse operations
A courteous and professional demeanor at all times
Serve as an ambassador for the company, ensuring a positive experience at every point of contact
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve any issues swiftly
A proactive approach to keep management informed at all staged while executing your role while offsite
High attention and adherence to safety and company protocols while operating delivery vehicles
Good relationship building skills
Effective and collaborative team player
Prepared to listen and learn from others
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to priorities the business needs
