Are you ready to take charge of an exciting data migration initiative? Our client is embarking on a groundbreaking enterprise-wide programme to transition from SAP ECC to the SAP Cloud, featuring S/4HANA and SuccessFactors. This is your chance to lead a pivotal role in modernising core business systems and enhancing data integrity!

Role Overview

As the Data Migration Manager, you will be at the forefront of this high-profile programme, orchestrating the end-to-end data migration strategy. Your mission? To ensure the accurate, secure, and timely migration of data from legacy systems to a cutting-edge SAP Cloud environment. You'll work in close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Charge: Define and own the comprehensive data migration strategy, approach, and roadmap.

Data Mastery: Oversee data profiling, cleansing, mapping, and transformation activities.

Tool Management: Manage data migration tools and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborative Spirit: Work with functional leads to understand data requirements and align with business processes.

Validation Vigilance: Supervise data validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.

Governance Guardian: Ensure data governance and compliance with all standards.

Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to data migration.

Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to data migration teams and vendors.

What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Proven experience managing SAP data migration projects, particularly transitioning from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

A strong grasp of SAP data structures, especially in key modules like FI, CO, and HR.

Hands-on experience with SAP migration tools and ETL processes.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience in large-scale transformation programmes.

Desirable Skills

SAP certification in data migration or S/4HANA.

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and integrations.

Knowledge of data governance frameworks.

Potential for Additional Scope

We're also exploring the possibility of engaging a separate Cutover Manager to oversee cutover management activities. If you're a candidate who can handle both the Data Migration and Cutover Manager roles, you will be highly preferred!
