Job Title: Cleansing Operative

Location: Thornhill Housing Office, Southampton, SO19 6DF

Employer: Southampton City Council

Contract Type: 3-month ongoing contract

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

We're looking for a practical, reliable person to join our team as a Cleansing Operative. You'll work closely with Neighbourhood Wardens and Cleaning Teams to keep the community clean, safe, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

Remove and dispose of rubbish in designated areas.

Assist with extra cleaning duties as needed.

Provide cover for cleaning staff during absences.

Work as part of a team to maintain high standards in public spaces. Requirements:

Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.

Comfortable with physical, hands-on work.
