Class 2 Driver

Description

Natural Stone Surfaces are a leading fabricator of stone worktops. We are based in Chapel en le Frith and cover the whole of the UK. Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit new Class 2 Driver to ensure the efficient and on-time delivery to the correct location daily. This role includes the driving of an 18 tonne vehicle to our Hertford depot for arrival between 7am and 7.30am. Unloading of vehicle and return to head office. As such a current clean Class 2 licence is required (essential) along with a current FLT licence (desirable). This is a single-drop trip.

Job description

Ensuring a safe working area at all times

Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within the vehicle

Support other team members as required once duties are complete and in order.

Skilled and proficient at entering and verifying data and maintaining necessary driver records

Fork Lift Truck and other truck related qualifications are desirable but training can be given

Self-motivated, proactive individual

Full flexibility with working hours, willing to work some weekends on an overtime basis

Capable of working in a pressurized environment

Adaptable and a good team player with demonstrable skills

Able to build and maintain effective working relationships

Able to effectively communicate with team members

Enquiring mind, willingness to adopt new approaches

Able to demonstrate good verbal and numerical skill

48 hours per week, paid breaks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: GBP13.94 per hour
