Class 1 Shunting (Nights)

Description

Are you an experienced and reliable Class 1 Shunter Driver looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for two dedicated drivers to join our team on a 6–month contract, servicing a reputable client based in Evesham.

Position Details:

Location: Evesham

Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off

Working Hours: 18:00 PM – 06:00 AM (Night Shifts)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: GBP18 – GBP20 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Shunting and maneuvering heavy goods vehicles within the yard and loading/unloading areasEnsuring all vehicles are correctly positioned and safely securedConducting basic vehicle inspections and reporting any issuesAdhering to all health and safety regulations and company policiesMaintaining accurate records of shifts and vehicle movements Candidate Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licenseProven experience in shunting and yard workStrong understanding of safety procedures and regulationsReliable, punctual, and able to work night shiftsGood communication skills and team attitude What We Offer:
