Class 1 Night Driver

Here at Driver Hire Southampton we are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Night Drivers to work on behalf of our clients specialising in general haulage deliveries.

About this Class 1 Night role:

AD HOC ongoing work varied between Monday to FridayStart times vary between 6:00pm and 8:00pm (10-12-hour shifts)Deliveries and collections of palletised general haulage goodsDriving a Class 1 curtain sider (sometimes may be on a double decker)One delivery to main hub in the midlandsPallets are forklifted off the vehicle Requirements from you as a Class 1 Driver:

Full UK Class 1 licenceValid CPC and Digi cardMinimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicleGreat communication skillsStrapping experienceExperience with curtain sider trailers/ general haulage deliveriesOwn transport to commute to and from workFantastic time keeping and communications skillsComplete daily vehicle checksComply with the company's health and safety proceduresRecord Tacho hours correctly Benefits of a Class 1 Driver working for Driver Hire Southampton:
