Pertemps are recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to start work on behalf of a world–leading distribution company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary ongoing role.

Please note weekend work is required.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and hardworking Driver, who can deliver to a pre–determined schedule and provide satisfaction to the customer.

Duties of a Class 1 Driver:

– Deliver stock to retail stores

– Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks as required

– Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately

– Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects

– Maintain a positive relationship with team

– Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph, and working time regulations

Requirements for this Class 1 HGV Role:

– Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)

– HGV Class 1 Licence with 2 years' experience of driving

– CPC card and Digital Tacho Card

– Flexible for shift patterns

More about the role:

– 18.54 per hour

– 25.56 Overtime paid after 8 hours

– Working to a shift pattern including weekends (Weekend shifts paid at overtime)

– Start times vary

– Permanent contracts available
