Class 1 DriverSlough, SL1Pay rate: GBP21.29- GBP31.94Full time hours Temp to Perm Opportunities for the right candidates This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as a Class 1 Driver and work with one of our largest National Clients in Slough. Our client provides domestic and international parcel delivery for high volume business customers. Class 1 Driver responsibilities: Loading and Unloading freight Complete scheduled deliveries and collections of shipments of a variety of weights Ensure correct completion of data and documentation Confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork Securing loads Scanning and working efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are metClass 1 Driver requirements: You MUST be in possession of an HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, and valid Driver CPC & DIGI Cards You MUST have held your Class 1 licence for a MIN of 2 years and driven a Class 1 vehicle for at least 6 months prior to applying for this role Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable. Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated enthusiastic and resilient - are welcomed attributes in this role.
