Description
We're looking for a talented Class 1 Drivers to work for our client in Stockport.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.
If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience.
The Role:
As the Class 1 Driver you'll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.
Shifts: Mon to Fri, 06:00/–7:00– 8 hour shift
Key responsibilities:
– Driving a Class 1 bulk waste vehicle to and from collection points
–Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
–Communicating effectively with dispatch and on–site teams
–Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety guidelines
–Accurate completion of all relevant paperwork
Requirements:
– Full UK driving license with (Class 1)
– Valid CPC and Tacho Card
– Excellent time management and organisational skills
– Previous experience in waste or bulk haulage preferred
– A good level of spoken and written English
– Reliability and punctuality
– UK right to work
In addition, you'll need the following:
– An excellent communication and team work
– An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable)
– A flexible attitude and a team player
