Description
Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with our Belfast–based client to recruit an experienced Insurance Claims Handler to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with solid experience in Motor Claims who enjoys managing claims efficiently and delivering outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities
Handle and negotiate Commercial Insurance Claims, with a strong focus on Motor and Liability cases.
Ensure claims are processed efficiently and in line with agreed KPIs, service standards, and performance targets.
Provide clients with clear updates, manage their expectations, and support them throughout the claims journey.
Escalate cases to Account Executives or Senior Management in line with referral procedures.
Identify any coverage or policy issues, raising potential E&O (Errors & Omissions) exposures when necessary.
Manage the full lifecycle of claims–from first notification through to settlement–with professionalism and attention to detail.
Support internal reporting through audits, statistical analysis, and preparation of claims summary reports.
Person Criteria
Proven experience in insurance claims handling, ideally within Motor Claims.
Sound understanding of Commercial Insurance products and policy structures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a client–focused approach.
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.
