Role Overview:
One of my local government clients is seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join the Commercial and Traded Services team. This part-time temporary role supports critical services delivered to schools, academies, and early years settings across the borough.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as a primary point of contact within Commercial and Traded Services, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
*
Coordinate the Services to Schools offer by managing meetings, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and supporting communications.
*
Conduct quality assurance checks on the SLA Online platform to maintain up-to-date and consistent information.
*
Provide project support to libraries and service providers, including organising meetings and maintaining documentation.
*
Manage and update content on SLA Online, including user administration, pricing reviews, invoicing, and financial coordination.
Candidate Requirements:
*
Strong administrative or business support background, ideally within the public sector or education.
*
Experience working with SLA platforms or similar online systems.
*
Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
