360 Grab Driver

Description

We're looking for a talented 360 Grab Driver(Multi Skilled Operator) to work with our prestigious client in the Widnes (WA8) area, a well–established company in the waste management sector.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field.

If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience.

The Role:

As the360 Grab Driver you'll report to the Team Leader and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for long–term, stable employment with the potential to go permanent after a successful temp period.

Shifts: Monday to Friday.

Job Duties:

–Operate 360 grab excavators to load/unload and transfer waste material

– Follow all Health & Safety protocols on–site

– Communicate effectively via two–way radio with the operations team

– Assist with general site duties when required

– Maintain site cleanliness and organisation

Requirements:

– Valid 360 Excavator Licence– essential

– Full UK driving license with Category C (Class 2)

– Previous experience in waste/recycling environment preferred but not essential( full training provided)

– Physically fit and safety– conscious

– Excellent communication and awareness skills

– A strong work ethic and 'can–do' attitude

– Reliability and punctuality

– UK right to work

In addition, you'll need the following:

– An excellent communication, team work and customer service skills

– An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable)

– A flexible attitude and a team player
