3.5 Tonne Driver

Excellent opportunity for a Van driver based in Devizes, Wiltshire.

Hiregiant are currently looking for a van driver (3.5 Tonne Tipper Driver) to join the team in Devizes, you will be working for a large builders merchant driving a 3.5 Tonne Tipper truck to complete local drops to regular customers.

You will be tasked with a route usually completing 5 to 10 drops across Bristol and the Southwest. Working Monday to Friday, starting at 7.30 am and usually finished by 5 pm

The deliveries can vary depending on orders, you may be required to deliver aggregates and use the tipper function to unload, or you may be required to deliver timber, sheet metal, plasterboard or other building products they will need to be unloaded by hand.

Some heavy lifting can be involved, and you will need a good level of customer service. You will need to complete vehicle checks and make sure the load has been secured

This is a great opportunity for regular 3.5 Tonne driving work with an excellent company, which could also lead to a permanent position for the right person.

Hours and pay

13.50 per hour, paid weekly every Friday. Monday to Friday 07:30 to 17:00. Optional overtime at weekends, paid at an enhanced rate. Requirements

Previous Van driving experience is required. Tipper experience would be beneficial, however full training can be given. Full UK driving licence. Good level of customer service. Safety boots and high viz. The ability to complete heavy lifting when required. An understanding of health and safety. Perks of the job
