Rogers McHugh are a dynamic Recruitment Company who specialise in the Construction and Facilities Management sectors throughout the UK. Formed in 2020 we have had a fantastic start to our journey, and we are now looking to add Trainee Consultants to our Permanent division based out of our South Manchester office.

The opportunities are vast, we have a structured professional plan to aim to get you to a fully-fledged Recruitment Consultant within 6 months. You can then work towards Senior, Principal and Business Manager or Team Manager.

Okay, but what is the role?

You’re probably thinking, sounds good but what will I “actually” be doing? Recruitment is the subtle art of finding the right person for the job… and then getting that person to the job!

Your day-to-day will consist of:

* Speaking with candidates to discuss their experiences and abilities

* Speaking to clients to establish what their needs are

* Arranging interviews for candidates looking for their next permanent position

* Beating the boss in a round of darts

* Spinning the wheel to win prizes based off performance

* Creating job adverts

* Learning and training to understand your market and become an expert!

We have all the tools required to run a lucrative desk, reporting into experienced and successful consultants who will help you on your journey.

Permanent Division

We have a strong Permanent Division already and so you will be working alongside some already successful consultants.

Working hours are 8:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 – 16:00 Friday.

What qualifications will you need?

Recruitment is not for everyone! It’s a tough industry that requires resilience, hard work and a competitive nature. Essential skills you’ll need:

* A good phone manner

* Good organisational skills

* Resilient and hard working

* Ability to build relationships/rapport
