Cook/Chef – Part Time

We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook/Chef to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cuisine, with a focus on meal preparation and food safety. As a Cook/Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen. Working hours are Saturday & Sunday 15-20hrs per week. Salary will depend on experience.

Duties:

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.

Experience:

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, at least 1+ years working as a Cook/Chef, has the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, exceptional culinary abilities combined with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a kitchen operating at full capacity. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong teamwork abilities, maintain a positive attitude, and possess exceptional problem-solving skills. Ability to engage with colleagues and various departments in a manner that reflects professionalism and respect is essential. Must maintain a neat & professional appearance.
