Description
I'm selling this set of Wilson Blade 98s rackets. This is the rarer version with the looser string pattern (18 x 16) allowing you to get more purchase on the ball and generate a lot of topspin.
All three rackets are in good condition, but with the usual scuffing from rackets that have been played with in matches. All the frames are structurally sound and have no cracking in the throats.
These are the V8 version and are becoming increasingly harder to find online now. The one in the middle has been used the most so has a bit more scuffing than the other two.
The one that is currently strung is strung with RPM Blast at 51lbs. Generally this racket is better suited to a slightly looser tension so I've found the sweet spot for this racket is 49lbs for a good balance of power and control. Appreciate this is a personal choice though of course!
I'm selling as I've switched to a different type. Have played with these for the last two years. Arm friendly racket too (never got any tennis elbow with them). The one with the new white grip is the newest and least used of the bunch - but all of them play well.
