Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm

Daily Rate: £95 - £100 (with the potential for a pay increase after 12 weeks)

SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be supporting a thriving and welcoming primary school in Islington in their search for a dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to join their team for the 2025/26 academic year.

The school is looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual who can support pupils of mixed abilities, help maintain a positive and focused learning environment, and work closely with the class teacher to inspire children to achieve their best. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils are essential for this role.

Your Role:

Provide high-quality support to a Year 4 class, both in small groups and 1:1

Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons

Support pupils with different learning needs, helping them reach their goals

Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively

Contribute to the school's inclusive, nurturing environment

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting children in KS2 (ideally Year 4)

Good behaviour management and a proactive, team-player approach

A genuine enthusiasm for education and child development

The ability to adapt support to meet the needs of all learners
