Job Title: Year 2 Teacher - Darwen

Location:

North West England, Lancashire, Darwen

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£90 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons to Year 2 students

Assessing student progress and providing feedback

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development

Participating in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience working with Key Stage 1 students

Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a primary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

Effective classroom management techniques

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Understanding of assessment and feedback practises

ICT skills for enhancing teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Specialist training in literacy or numeracy

Experience with SEN students

Working Conditions:

The role involves working in a primary school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. Regular interaction with students, colleagues, and parents is expected. The ability to adapt to changing educational requirements and a commitment to continuous professional development is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
