Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistants - Torfaen
Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting young people in their education? We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools throughout Torfaen.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping pupils to achieve their full potential. You will work with individuals and small groups, assist with classroom activities, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching and learning across the classroom
Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
Assist in delivering lesson activities and resources
Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour
Provide additional support for learners with varying needs
Promote the use and development of the Welsh languageRequirements:
Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and supportive approach to learning
Passion for education and the Welsh language
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Ability to provide two xjnqpsq professional referencesWhat We Offer:
