Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Specialist Provision (Secondary)
A highly regarded specialist secondary provision in the Borough of Redbridge is looking to welcome a motivated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join their experienced team ASAP. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping to remove barriers to learning and empowering young people to thrive.
This role is ideal for a graduate or aspiring professional looking to build experience in education, mental health, youth work, or child psychology.
Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Job Overview:
Based in an Outstanding specialist school in Redbridge
Full–time, long–term position starting ASAP
Working hours: 8:30am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Supporting students across KS3–KS5
Daily rate: 95– 115
What You'll Be Doing:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and SEMH
Assisting with classroom engagement and personal development
Contributing to intervention strategies and behaviour plans
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

Experience supporting students with additional needs (desired)
A graduate or confident individual ready to take on a challenging but rewarding role
