Specialist schools in Trafford are looking for an Unqualified Teacher dedicated to making a positive impact on the education and social skills of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

The Unqualified Teacher role will involve delivering pre-planned lessons to vulnerable students aged 11-16 and responding to the pastoral needs of the pupils in a caring and empathetic manner. They have a supportive staff team who effectively share expertise, skills and knowledge and promote an ethos of disciplined behaviour to ensure effective learning. The school are open to applicants from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.

Requirements

The desired Unqualified Teacher will:

Possess the desire to develop and deliver an adapted curriculum suited to excluded pupils and those at risk of exclusion.

Understand the communication skills required to teach children with barriers to learning and who may be disengaged with education.

Demonstrate an ongoing commitment to inclusive education practices and ensuring equal opportunities for all students regardless of their background.

Be willing to partake in our training delivered by Qualified Teachers at Vision for Education.
