Unqualified Maths Teacher – Daventry

Location: Daventry

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full–Time – Long–Term, with potential for permanent employment

Salary: 100– 160 per day (based on experience and school support)

We are collaborating with a number of welcoming secondary schools in Daventry who are seeking enthusiastic, unqualified Maths Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for Maths graduates, aspiring teachers, or those with relevant experience but no formal QTS to start their teaching careers.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well–structured Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils

Collaborate with experienced teachers to plan and deliver curriculum content

Maintain a positive, well–managed classroom atmosphere conducive to learning

Adapt teaching methods to support students with a variety of learning needs and abilities

Assist with marking, assessments, and monitoring pupil progress

Participate in safeguarding training, CPD sessions, and school activities

Ideal Candidate:

Degree in Mathematics, Maths–related subjects, or a relevant field

Experience working with children or young people is an advantage but not essential

Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for teaching Maths

Organised, patient, and dedicated to supporting student progress

Willing to receive feedback and engage in professional development

Must have, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS check
