What is a Cover Supervisor?

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be delivering pre-set lessons in secondary schools when teachers are absent. You’re not expected to be a subject expert — just someone who can lead a classroom, keep students engaged, and ensure learning continues.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading and supervising classes across a range of subjects

Following planned lessons and keeping students on task

Managing behaviour in line with school policies

Building confidence and experience for a future career in education

No Experience? No Problem.
