Team Leader – Children’s Residential Care | Outstanding Provider | Full-Time | Permanent

Location: Solihull

Willo Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected Ofsted-rated Outstanding children’s residential care provider, in the search for an experienced Team Leader to join their dedicated therapeutic care team.

The Opportunity

As Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in a therapeutic residential home that supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs. This is a chance to be part of a home that puts care, support, and development at the heart of everything they do.

You’ll act as a role model and support to your team, helping to implement a holistic and child-focused approach to care. You will:

* Support and guide Senior and Therapeutic Practitioners

* Manage staff rotas, shift cover, absence tracking, and training/leave records

* Oversee the completion and updates of Young Person Plans (YP plans)

* Liaise with the wider care team to ensure consistency and excellence

About You

To thrive in this role, you will need:

* Previous experience in a Senior Support or Team Leader role in a residential children’s care setting

* A solid understanding of safeguarding procedures

* Experience supporting young people with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties

* Strong leadership and organisational skills

* A minimum Level 4 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce, or equivalent

* Experience in a therapeutic care environment is highly desirable
