Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Salary: £95 - £110 Per day

Benefits: PAYE

Job Duties:

Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities

Assisting with the supervision of students in the classroom and around the school

Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or special needs

Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources

Assisting with classroom management and behaviour control

Supporting students in their learning and progress

Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths

Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools

Enhanced DBS check

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Previous experience working in a primary school setting

Knowledge of the national curriculum and educational policies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team and independently

Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification

Experience working with students with special educational needs

Additional qualifications in specific subject areas

Working Conditions:

Temporary position with the possibility of extension

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

Working in a primary school environment

Collaborating with teachers and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
