Support a child's educational journey | Full-time | Term-time only | Immediate Start

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs to thrive in a mainstream classroom?

We're currently recruiting One-to-One Support Assistants for a number of mainstream primary schools across Manchester. These roles involve working closely with individual pupils who require additional support due to special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social-emotional challenges.

Whether you're experienced or looking to develop your career in education, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a child's school experience.

The Role:

Providing dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil with identified learning or behavioural needs

Assisting the pupil to access lessons, understand tasks, and stay engaged

Supporting social and emotional development through consistent and positive reinforcement

Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider staff team

Adapting resources and strategies to meet the child's individual needs

We're Looking For:

Experience working with children, ideally in a school or SEN environment

A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

Confidence in supporting behaviour and learning within a busy classroom

Good communication skills and a team player attitude

A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

What We Offer:

Support from a dedicated consultant who understands the education sector

Access to training and professional development

Opportunities for long-term roles and potential permanent contracts

A rewarding role where you can have a lasting impact on a child's development
