Location: Various Locations

Salary: £95–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

* Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

* ADHD

* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

* Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

* Moderate, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties (MLD, SLD and PMLD)

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils.

* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.

* Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and participation in learning.

* Promoting positive behaviour through consistent and supportive strategies.

* Assisting with personal care where required.

* Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

* Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and parents to support each child's individual needs.

About You

We're looking for individuals who are:

* Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

* Patient, caring and resilient.

* Excellent communicators who enjoy working as part of a team.

* Adaptable and able to build positive relationships with pupils.

* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

You'll also need:

* Experience working with children or young people (school, care, coaching, youth work or similar experience is desirable).

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.

* The right to work in the UK.

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential. We also welcome applications from graduates, support workers, sports coaches, youth workers and individuals with transferable skills.
