Pay: £95–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

We're recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Burnage seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from 1st September until 31st August 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, rewarding environment and is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

The Role

Supporting pupils across the primary age range.

Working closely with children with SEND, particularly those with SEMH needs.

Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, engagement and progress.

Supporting the class teacher to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.

Providing occasional whole-class cover during short-term staff absence when required.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Has previous experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH.

Is resilient, proactive and happy to roll their sleeves up.

Can build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.

Is confident leading learning and can step into whole-class cover when needed.

Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
