Description

Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Crewe

Start Date: September

Contract: Temporary

Salary: £92.62 to £110 per day

Do you have a passion for helping young children flourish?

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school this September. This role is based in Crewe and is easily accessible from Nantwich, Sandbach, Haslington, Shavington, Winsford, Middlewich, Alsager, Holmes Chapel, and the surrounding Cheshire area, making it an excellent opportunity for local Early Years professionals looking for their next role close to home.

If you hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Early Years, love seeing children grow in confidence, and want to make a genuine difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you're already working in a school, nursery, or preschool setting, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team where your skills, ideas, and commitment will be valued.

Why this role:

Every day is different. One moment you'll be supporting a child as they master a new skill, the next you'll be encouraging imaginative play, helping build friendships, or celebrating those small but important milestones that make such a difference.

You'll be joining a school that believes every child deserves the very best start to their education and values staff who are patient, nurturing, and passionate about early learning.

The Role:

Working alongside the class teacher, you will:

Support children in their learning through engaging, play-based and structured activities.

Deliver learning activities to individuals and small groups.

Encourage children's communication, language, social, and emotional development.

Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

Support children with varying learning needs, including those with SEND.

Assist with observations, assessments, and recording children's progress.

Promote positive behaviour and independence.

Prepare learning resources and maintain an organised classroom.

Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.

Support children's wellbeing and ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

NVQ Level 3 in Early Years (or an equivalent Level 3 Early Years qualification).

Experience working with children within an Early Years or school setting.

A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework.

A nurturing and patient approach.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The ability to inspire confidence and encourage learning through play.

Good organisational skills and the ability to use their initiative.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

What You'll Gain:

Competitive daily pay.

A welcoming and supportive school environment.

Opportunities for ongoing professional development.

The chance to make a real difference in children's lives every single day.

A rewarding role within a friendly team that values your contribution.
