Teaching Assistant – Lovely One-Form Entry Primary School in Hemel Hempstead

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £105–£110 per day

Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

Start Date: Monday 3rd November (after October half term)

A lovely one-form entry primary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team after the October half term. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a warm, supportive environment that values teamwork and pupil progress.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.

* Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning and promote progress.

* Assist in preparing classroom materials and maintaining a positive learning environment.

* Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs, helping them achieve their full potential.

* Contribute to the wider school community, promoting the school’s values and ethos.

Requirements

* Previous experience working within a primary school setting is essential.

* A strong understanding of classroom routines and supporting teaching and learning.

* A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to supporting children’s education.

* Must hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
