Description

Are you passionate about education and eager to inspire the next generation? A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Enfield is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact by supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in their academic progress and personal development. Working alongside teachers and the SEND department, you’ll provide personalised support, deliver engaging interventions, and contribute to a positive learning environment where every student can succeed.

Your Key Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning across a range of KS3 and KS4 subjects

Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions based on individual student needs

Assist students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Foster a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment

Help with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom organisation

What We’re Looking For

Experience working in a school or educational setting (paid or voluntary)

A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred, not required)

Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply

Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices
