Teaching Assistant - KS1 - Bolton - Full-Time - ASAP Start

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Bolton . This is a full-time Teaching Assistant role, starting as soon as possible, working alongside an experienced KS1 team.

Job Details:

Position: Teaching Assistant (KS1)

Location: Bolton

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Teaching Assistant in the KS1 department, your role will include:

Supporting the class teacher in day-to-day classroom activities

Working with small groups and 1:1 as a Teaching Assistant to provide extra learning support

Assisting with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy interventions

Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

Being a proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant presence in the classroom

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will Have:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in KS1

A calm, caring, and patient approach with young children

Strong teamwork and communication skills

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

A positive attitude and passion for making a difference as a Teaching Assistant
