Teaching Assistant Full-Time, Immediate Start - September 2025

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school on a long-term basis.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm during term time, supporting three students with additional needs. Two of these students are wheelchair users, so the successful applicant must be able to push wheelchairs.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs is highly desirable.

Must be reliable, empathetic, and committed to supporting students’ academic and personal development.

Ability to work 1:1 and adapt support to meet individual needs.

Must be local to the area or have access to your own car.

Available to start immediately.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
