TeacherActive is proud to be working with a forward-thinking primary setting who are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant with a sports specialism to join their team on a long-term temporary basis, starting immediately.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about education and physical activity, with the drive to support pupils both in the classroom and through a range of sporting opportunities.

Your role will include:

Providing general classroom support across the primary age range.

Delivering small-group and 1:1 learning interventions.

Leading and assisting with PE lessons, sports clubs, and extra-curricular activities.

Encouraging pupils to develop teamwork, resilience, and a love of sport.

Supporting children with additional needs to fully access learning.

The successful candidate will:

Have experience working with children in a school or coaching environment.

Be confident in supporting learning and leading sporting activities.

Be reliable, enthusiastic, and a strong team player.

Hold a relevant qualification or proven experience in sport/PE.
