The Primary School aim to provide a firm foundation for their pupils through a broad, balanced and enjoyable education whilst implementing high emphasis on basic skills of reading, writing and maths. They ensure that all their pupils are treated equally in all aspects of school life to allow them to reach their full potential. The Primary School foster a supportive partnership with parents and the wider community by keeping everyone involved.

The Primary School are looking to take on an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant on a temporary part time basis. The successful candidate will be working in the Key Stage 2 classes supporting the classroom teachers with lessons, managing pupil behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment. You will be expected to be forward thinking and be able to use your initiative to situations that may arise.

The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification or at least 6 months experience working within a classroom setting

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

A good ability to create valued relationships with pupils

Excellent communication skills
