An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Catholic primary school in Lambeth, serving a diverse and vibrant community. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils to thrive in this nurturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

Supporting pupils' learning across a range of subjects, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis

Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom management

Encouraging pupils' independence, confidence, and creativity

Promoting the school's Gospel values and fostering inclusion within the classroom

Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to enhance learning outcomes

Helping to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment

Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you will need:

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

Right to work in the UK

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential

A positive, proactive, and caring attitude with a genuine passion for supporting education
