Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Lambeth (Near Brixton Station)

Location: Lambeth - short walk from Brixton Station

Start Date: 15 September 2025

Contract: Full-time, term-time

Daily Rate: £90-£105 (DOE)

A friendly, inclusive two form primary school in Lambeth is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to start 15 September. This role suits graduates and those aiming for teacher training who want hands-on classroom experience.

Who should apply (recommended degrees): Psychology, English, Maths, Drama/Creative Arts, Sports Science/PE.

Key duties:

Support class teachers with lessons and resources.

Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions across primary phases.

Help pupils access the curriculum and build confidence.

Assist with classroom routines and pupil wellbeing.

We're looking for:

A degree (any subject); classroom experience desirable but not essential.

Good communication, patience and a teamwork mindset.

Willingness to learn and commit to school routines.
