Teaching Assistant – Newham

Location: Newham, East London

Contract Type: Full-time | Term-time only

Salary: £90–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

You’ll be supporting students and teachers to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Roles vary across schools but may include:

Supporting individual pupils or small groups

Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery

Providing tailored support for students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

Encouraging student participation and progress

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children or in schools (desirable, not essential)

A passion for education and helping young people thrive

A positive, proactive, and patient attitude

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
