Are you a Teaching Assistant ready for a new role?

Would you like to work as a flexible Teaching Assistant across schools in Liverpool?

We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support in various schools across Liverpool on a flexible basis.

Our clients are schools across Liverpool in need of Teaching Assistants. You will be supporting students on a 1-1 basis or within small groups. Students will need a range of support depending on the school.

Many of the roles we advertise may start as temporary, but there is often the opportunity to work long-term or even permanently.

Key Requirements:

* Experience and understanding of how to support young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs

* School experience supporting students in a classroom or 1-1

* References covering the last two years

* Hold a current DBS on the update service, or are willing to complete a new DBS

* The Right to Work in the UK

Duties will include:

* Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities

* Preparing the classroom before lessons

* Working with pupils in small groups and working 1:1 with children with additional needs

* Putting together displays of children’s work

* Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour

* Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks

* Supervising group activities
