Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Kettering from September 2025. This full–time, term–time position is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with children and keen to develop their career in education.

Key Responsibilities – Teaching Assistant – Kettering, Northamptonshire

Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience

Providing in–class support as well as one–to–one and small group assistance

Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and behaviour management

Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For – Teaching Assistant – Kettering, Northamptonshire

Experience working with children in an educational setting (paid or voluntary)

A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills

A patient and caring nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

A willingness to learn and respond well to feedback

Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate are desirable but not essential
