Full–Time Primary Teaching Assistants – September 2025 Start

Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a full–time position in a primary school this September? Tradewind Education is recruiting passionate and proactive support staff to join our partner primary schools across Camden, Hackney, and Islington for the 2025/26 academic year.

We are seeking individuals who are committed to supporting children's learning, development, and well–being in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classrooms.

Role Details:

Position: Primary Teaching Assistant

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Full–Time, Term–Time Only

Locations: Camden, Hackney, and Islington

Pay: Competitive weekly rates based on experience and role

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils in class, in small groups or 1:1

Assisting with behaviour management and lesson activities

Supporting pupils with SEND, EAL or SEMH needs

Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment

Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider staff team

Requirements:

Experience working in a UK primary school (classroom or nursery setting)

Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible approach

A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

Full–time availability (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm)
