Support Role: Classroom-based learning support responsibilities

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant committed to helping young learners thrive in a supportive school environment?

A well-regarded school in Cardiff, in partnership with Empowering Learning Cardiff, is looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This full-time role provides a rewarding opportunity to support pupils across Key Stages in a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.

You will work closely with teachers to provide classroom support, assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities, and promote a positive learning experience for all pupils. You may also support pupils with additional learning needs (ALN) or those requiring 1:1 assistance.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

Ability to build positive relationships with learners and staff

Understanding of classroom strategies to support learning and behaviour

A caring, flexible, and proactive approach

A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
