A primary school in Manchester is looking for a dedicated, passionate, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils with Special Educational Needs including classroom support, one-to-one interventions, and assisting in other activities. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe engaging and inclusive learning environment. You will support pupils with a range of complex needs, including:

* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

* Learning Difficulties

* Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs

* Physical disabilities

Duties

* Provide close support to children with Special Educational Needs.

* Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning activities.

* Support pupils in developing their academic, emotional, and social skills.

* Promote an inclusive learning environment where every child can learn and thrive.

* Monitor and report on pupil progress to help shape their individual education plans.

* Managing behaviour effectively with restorative approaches.

Requirements

* Experience with SEN desirable.

* Right to work in the UK.

* Full UK driving Licence and access to a vehicle(highly desirable).

* Enhanced DBS.
